The South Carolina Sheriffs' Association (SCSA) is seeking a highly motivated, organized individual to serve as its next Executive Director.

The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of the organization and shall be responsible to the Association's Board of Directors. The Executive Director shall promote the South Carolina Sheriffs' Association and strive to improve the quality of the Office of Sheriff and law enforcement in general. He shall also promote, advocate, and encourage public and private interest in the Office of Sheriff and law enforcement in general.

This individual should be a self-starter and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Association's affairs, including answering questions from Sheriffs, serving as a liaison between South Carolina's Sheriffs and state agencies, overseeing and participating in the Association's fundraising efforts, lobbying the South Carolina General Assembly, and supervising the Association's staff.
